- 3 c rolled oats
- 1 scant c white whole wheat flour or other whole grain flour
- 1/2 c peanut or other nut butter
- 1/2 c wheat germ
- 2/3 c honey( or more or less, depending on taste)
- 1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 - 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- chocolate chips
- spread into pan evenly and bake at 350 for 17-20 min, or until set.
